Questions that come up before the first strip.

A few practical details can make it easier to plan wallpaper installation. For a question about your own room, a phone call is welcome too.

Can I call before I know my wall measurements?

Yes. You can call and describe the project in your own words. Measurements, photos and the exact wallpaper name can be helpful later, but they are not required to begin a conversation. You may also ask whether an on-site visit or measurements can be arranged; that depends on confirmation for your project.

What makes a wall ready for wallpaper?

In general, the surface should be clean, dry and sound. Loose paint, old adhesive or uneven areas may need attention, and different surfaces can call for different primers. The material maker’s installation instructions and the condition of the wall should guide preparation.

Can peel-and-stick wallpaper go on any wall?

Not necessarily. Self-adhesive products can be sensitive to dust, texture, moisture and paint condition. For example, some manufacturers specify that newly painted walls need to cure for a stated period before application. Check the instructions for your exact product and surface.

What affects an installation estimate?

Project scope, wall dimensions, wall condition, material, pattern complexity, access and whether removal or preparation is involved can all matter. There is no single price that fits every room. Call to talk about what you know and ask what would help with a more detailed estimate.

Can you remove wallpaper before installing new paper?

Yes. Wallpaper removal is among the services offered. After the covering comes off, the wall may need adhesive cleanup, repair or primer before a new finish is ready. What is needed depends on what the existing layers reveal.

Can wallpaper be used on just one accent wall?

An accent wall is one possible project scope. Its focal wall, corners, openings and pattern scale help determine how the design will read in the room. Call to talk through the wall and the material you are considering.

Do you install wallpaper in commercial spaces?

Yes. Commercial wallpaper installation is an available service. Tell us what kind of space you have and which area is involved so the project can be discussed directly.
